Please put down here any comments/things you want to point out/helpful advices about how I RP as Allen Walker. I'll make the comparisons as you send them. I always like a chance to get better so feel encouraged to put something down!

CHARACTER NAME: Allen Walker
CHARACTER SERIES: D. Gray Man
[OOC]
This is the permissions list for OOC (out of character), activity.
Answer the following questions with "yes" or "no", as well as additional information if desired.

Backtagging: eh go on
Threadhopping: ok
Fourthwalling: Who is this..."mun" you're talking about? Oh well, not important I guess.
Offensive subjects (elaborate): Fine by me. Allen is a professional. He knows the drill.

[IC]
This is the permissions list for IC (in-character), activity.
Answer the following questions with "yes" or "no", as well as additional information if desired. With IC permissions, it's a good idea to elaborate on what other players can expect from your character if they choose to do any of the following:

Hugging this character: go ahead (I'd do it)*
Kissing this character: It's happened before (I'd also do it)*
Flirting with this character: would be fun! (I'd do this as well)*
Fighting with this character: If it's a fight you want...(I would NOT do this, personally, but I hear he's hot underneath that outfit...)
Injuring this character (include limits and severity): Is difficult to kill. Gets injured all the time. Shreds his shirt all the time. He is used to it by now. Has had his eye stabbed out once (he got better). Has also been stabbed, slashed, bruised, etc. So that's viable.
Killing this character: Many have tried. Expect a boss fight after "succeeding" in doing so.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: His mind is pretty messed up. Proceed with great caution (or don't). Cannot guarantee that you'll like what you see.

*: I am a male

Warnings: Having a definitive case of "demonic possession" (of a sort), Allen's circumstance is unenviable. If sufficiently injured, the "14th", a demonic master of sorts, will take over his body for a temporary amount of time, healing most if not all of his wounds but the 14th is a complete sociopath with no regard or human life. Or life in general. Currently, his powers are very limited in this mode but still dangerous. Possesses a powerful anti-demon weapon called "Crowned Clown" (and when he shouts it, he doesn't sound like an idiot).

Mr. Walker is also superhumanly strong and agile, to a point where many supernatural creatures will take caution against him even with his Innocence not invoked. Those with demonic blood but good of heart might want to stay clear of his sword--it'll hurt them regardless of their alignment. Also likes saving people. Really really. Forgiveness is his profession if that was ever a thing.

Also, he cheats at cards. Always. What a dick.

Character Information

Character Name: Allen Walker
Character Series: D. Gray Man
Character Age: Unknown (appears to be 16)
Character Gender: Male
Original Canon
Canon Point: Shortly after defeating the Level 4 Akuma in France
Background Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allen_Walker

Personality: The Allen we know now is currently sixteen years of age as of this “cycle” of sorts--some time ago, “Allen” contacted the 14th--a monstrous humanoid weapon, unlike the rest of the dark and evil Noah--and offered to save his life. The 14th agreed and made “Allen” his new vessel. However, whether by design or perhaps completely unforeseen, “Allen” regressed back to a very young age. The current “Allen” we know recounts his memories as starting here, completely in the dark about his true origin currently.

Believed to have been abandoned because of his deformed arm, the young boy was adopted by Mana Walker. This man raised him in a circus for some time and became the father he never had but always wanted. Soon, however, he passed away. But not for the usual reason. The truth is, Allen (now having been officially named “Allen Walker”) destroyed his father after he inadvertently turned Mana into an Akuma, a demon. The sudden shock of this event bleached Allen’s hair white from pain and suffering and his eye cursed by Mana before his destruction. Not long after this, he was taken in by his mentor, Cross, and took on the personality we associate with him today.

Raised by a man he idolized and sees himself as his murderer, Allen promised his father he’d walk the right path. One hand to save humans, the other to save the Akuma. Akuma are demons powered by souls and the only way they can be freed is by being destroyed by Innocence. A condition Allen goes out of his way to fulfill. “Forgiveness” is one of Allen’s strongest points. Even to the Noah, whom he feels can be saved.

Allen has met some fine friends at the Black Order, an organization devoted to fighting the demons. The first few he met took an instant liking to him because of his carefree, trusting, and devotedly selfless nature. Looking at him from afar, one would be completely unaware of the constant burden he shoulders as he jokes around his closely knit group of friends. His friends in the Order itself are his greatest things in the world and almost the only things keeping him going throughout his stressful “job.” Constantly fighting. Constant injuries. Endless pain and it is even a wonder he sleeps well at night.

To Allen, seeing a soul become lost (IE killed by something not Innocence and losing the soul forever) is the most painful thing he can possibly stand. While others probably won’t see it, Allen’s cursed eye assures it. The soul disappearing forever is something he will never forget until the end of his days. One soul lost is another he couldn’t save. The first time this happened, he was nearly hysterical and needed to be talked down by Lenalee.

To sum up Allen’s entire personality in one sentence: he has come down with a severe case of “MUST SAVE EVERYONE!”. This one path he takes is the only one for him, Allen believes. He’ll keep going forward, keeping saving as many as he can, keep destroying every Akuma he can until he reaches the end and defeats the Noah, their leader the Millenium Earl and whatever other evils hide in the world. No matter how painful his path is, no matter how many people suffer and die and no matter how often he’s forced to witness it all, he will see it through to the end.

On a lighter side of things, Allen tends to make the most of the time he has. When there’s a spare moment, he eats like an entire battalion of men. Due to his parasite-type Innocence requiring massive calories, he often consumes enough food to feed five men for a week in one sitting. Needless to say, he has developed ridiculous eating habits because of it. One of which is not willing to share food if offered. No one said Allen was perfect.

He also cheats at cards. Due to having the need to pay off his master’s immense debts he trained himself to obtain money through any way possible. And since many are inclined to bet large sums of money at cards, well…

Knowing nothing about Mr. Walker, you couldn’t tell him apart from any other boy his age. He jokes with his friends, he has a heated rivalry with Kanda, he’s definitely a team player. Courteous at all times even towards those he has an uneasy relationship with. At least, whenever he isn’t insulting them. In his eyes, nobody deserves a terrible fate. Even the news of Allen’s continually worsening condition relating to the 14th doesn’t seem to slow him down. A kindhearted, jovial fellow through and through. The times where he’s eating with his friends are probably the highlights of his life.

Being that his job requires a lot of…running around, Allen has himself said that he has no time for relationships. Not that he’s completely unwilling, mind you. He’s quite close to a certain girl in the main cast…

Bringing up his past isn’t likely to upset him very much. Self aware but not utterly self conscious, he is actually keen to listen on what others know about him as it would shed more light on what his childhood was like. Unless Cross is brought up. The way he acts after that can’t be called mean because he isn’t angry at whoever asked him, but Cross himself. Having dumped tons of debt (and physical abuse) on Allen, he has a less than savory relationship with his former master. Nonetheless, Allen was initially unaware--or just refused to acknowledge--that Cross does truly care about him until he up and admitted to Allen that he wished the 14th’s host should’ve been some good-for-nothing and not Allen (as a Noah, the 14th will inevitably kill the host once it has completely taken over).

On a final note, despite his knowledge of circus performances, job regulations and card tricks, Allen’s intelligence is only above average at best. Not going to school has taken its toll. Given that Allen now has marketable skills even without his supernatural capabilities, this may not be entirely bad.

Abilities: Possesses the power of “Innocence”, an anti-demonic weapon. While the powers granted differ from person to person, there are various “types”. Allen has the “parasite” type, a form of Innocence that bonds with the user’s body--in this case, his entire left arm is an anti-demonic weapon called the Crowned Clown. In its base form it is a long, slender arm much longer than a normal arm can be and is razor sharp. When pressed, he can fully invoke the Innocence into a large blade with a cross embedded on it, increasing its power immensely and granting it even more special properties. While a super strong weapon, it cannot harm innocent or good people and can only harm demonic or evil creatures such as Akuma. In addition, Allen’s left eye is cursed, allowing him to see things normal people cannot (such as Akuma, beings that can camouflage as normal humans). After “leveling up”, he can extend a field with his eye so that his friends in the vicinity can discern friend from foe and see invisible things. On top of this, Allen is also at the peak of physical condition despite his age and can fight low-level supernatural creatures without using his powers. Not exactly a power per say, but he can juggle many objects and has perfect balance due to having worked as a clown before.

(His 14th infection has advanced to a point where the 14th can also temporarily take over Allen's body if sufficiently wounded or sometimes when he's just vulnerable. While his powers in this state are currently unknown or perhaps the Noah's powers can't yet manifest, he is nonetheless incredibly dangerous in this state to everything around him as the 14th has a disregard for human life or any life in general. Woe be the day where he is permanently locked in this mode, as the 14th is an ungodly powerful weapon with a mind of its own.)
